Michele earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is a member of the Illinois CPA Society (ICPAS). She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Illinois.

Michele has gained extensive corporate accounting and not-for- profit experience throughout her career in varying levels of accountant and analyst roles as well as senior management positions leading an accounting team for a variety of companies and CPA firms located in the Midwest. She worked as the Plant Accountant for Clorox Products Manufacturing Company where she solely led
the accounting and budgeting processes for the SOS plant, made significant improvements in the budgeting process and automated the fixed assets tracking system which increased efficiencies and accuracy by eliminating non-value add tasks and decreasing paper work requirements. At PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP she served as a tax associate performing various tax studies to maximize potential tax credits for major corporations with a large research and development
segment of their business.
Michele has vast expertise in servicing small to mid-size companies through providing comprehensive accounting, tax and consulting services, particularly in the industries of healthcare, manufacturing, education and not-for- profits. Michele has expertise in leading the implementation of computerized accounting systems which includes ERP solutions.
Michele regularly volunteers her time and talents within her community as a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and The Links, Inc. She serves on the Board of Directors for two not-for-profits in the Chicagoland area which includes Habilitative Systems, Inc. (HSI) and the Trinity
Acres/Trinity Housing Corporation.
